For how long have you been with BIRN?
I have been with BIRN since May 2007.

How did you get a job at BIRN, and what is your story?
I was unemployed at the beginning of 2007 when a family member contacted me. She was working with the temp agency “Aktiv Personale” through which BIRN was looking for a maternity cover for their payroll department. I got the position as maternity cover, and when the temporary job ended, I was offered a permanent position which, of course, I accepted.

Which job functions have you had at BIRN, and which are your present job functions?
I am in our payroll department and mainly handle wages for blue collar staff, register new employees, and administer holiday allowances. In addition, I have also been working with apprentices, temps, collection lists, canteen accounts, and various ad hoc assignments.

What do you think makes BIRN a good place to work?
I believe I have some really nice colleagues who help and motivate each other, and the tone is very free and informal, which I like a lot. BIRN is an old and sound company that cares about its staff and makes an effort to preserve our workplaces here in Denmark.

Mention three things that would incite a job seeker to apply for a job at BIRN?
